Ruth Elizabeth GlissonClarksville, TNRuth Elizabeth Glisson, 88, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at St. Thomas West in Nashville, TN.Ruth was born on August 11, 1928, to the late Albert Seay and Cappie Jackson Seay. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Milton Glisson; three brothers; and four sisters.Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, January 13, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at the Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Pastor Rickie Mozee officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2017, from 3:00-7:00 p.m. and Friday, January 13, 2017, from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.Ruth retired from JFB Manufacturing.Ruth is survived by her son, David Glisson; daughter, Helen (Dewey) Dennis; brother, Larry (Brenda) Seay; sister, Shirley (Red) Weatherford; three grandchildren, Justin Glisson, Bruce (Stacey) Watts, and Jonathan Wynn; and five great-grandchildren.Pallbearers will be Justin Glisson, Bruce Watts, Devin Watts, Kyle Watts, Scott Seay, and Steven Seay.Arrangements entrusted to Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, 1510 Madison Street, Clarksville, TN 37040.
