Ruth Louise Lett Reed was born July 19, 1929 in Baldwin County, Alabama to the late John Henry Lett, Sr. and Clare Jones. She was a member of Mount Gilead Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Pastor Clyde L. Reed Sr. || Daugthers: Sandra Wilson. || Granddaughter: Stephaine Reed Nero. || Sisters: Mattie, Magdalene, & Margaret. || Brothers: John Henry, Norman, Pete, Jesse, Theodore, Raymond, Ellis, & Sylvester.

She is survived by four loving sons. Clyde Reed Jr. of Foley, AL. Rickey (Maxine) Reed of Summerdale, AL. Darrin Reed of Foley, AL. Tarrin Reed of Summerdale, AL. Two loving daughters. Clara Reed Pender of Summerdale, AL. Vivian (Charles) Mason of Summerdale, AL.
