Ruth was such a charismatic and beautiful soul!! I still remember the first time I met her about 15 years ago, and she spent an entire week in Las Vegas trying to convince teenage me that she wasn't Asian. :-) And lets not forget about that time in the lazy river when she gave those punks the "what for"!! She was just always such a joy to be around, so vibrant, and lived every moment to the fullest bringing fun and life with her where ever she went. She will truly be missed, but most definitely never forgotten because her spirit and light have touched so many and will live on through the love and stories that she left behind. Love you, grandma!

I have been sitting here enjoying many happy memories of Momma Ruth. One thing I was trying to remember is when I very first met her but I can't recall that one. I think I know why. It is because she greeted me and others with open arms and an open heart. I felt as if I had known her for years. She always made me feel safe and loved. Her smile and laughter were contagious. I could never be in a bad mood around her. Ruth was loved by many and she left a huge void. Farewell sweet Ruth. Forever in my heart.

I always look forward to seeing Ruth; I think everyone did. Her smile and warmth, and her welcoming presence are remembered most. Ruth was one of those rare people that always gave energy to those around her. I'm sorry we have lost her here on earth and I look forward to seeing her when I join her in heaven - some day, a really, really long time from now! Thanks for sharing part of your life with me Ruth!

We are deeply sorry for your loss, Diane, Denise and families.
Ruth was truly a bright and shining light on this earth. The moment I met her I felt as if I'd known her my entire life. She had that gift, and she shared her kindness and generosity where ever she went. We will truly miss her.
