Ruth Ponder, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on May 20, 2024 in Orlando, Florida.
She was born on March 10, 1940 to Charles and Theresa in Orlando, Florida. Ruth was married to Willis Ponder in 23, and together they raised nine children: Irving, Rufus, Max, Henrietta, Irma, Clifton, Frieda, Cornelius, and Miriam.
Ruth attended Lake Brantley HS high school and graduated in 1958. She later worked at CNA as a dedicated employee.
Known for her warm smile and generous spirit, Ruth was a talented baker and gardener. She was passionate about her family and cherished spending time with her loved ones.
Ruth is survived by her loving family, including her husband, children, and six grandchildren.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
