Ruthie Henderson, age 74, of Columbus, Georgia, passed away on October 29, 2024. She was born on February 7, 1950, to Arthur Lee Houston and Willie Ophelia Houston.
In 1982, Ruthie married the love of her life, John Thomas Henderson Sr. Together they had seven children: Selestor Houston, Tracy Henderson, John Henderson Jr, Christopher Henderson, Steven Henderson, Evan Henderson, and Angela Shelton.
Ruthie was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She had seven grandchildren who meant the world to her.
Ruthie had many hobbies that brought her joy, including being creative, decorating, attending church, and exploring flea markets.
Ruthie will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She was a loving and caring soul who touched the lives of all who knew her.
Rest in peace, Ruthie Henderson. You will forever be in our hearts.
