Sabrena L. Terry, a beloved member of the Cincinnati community, passed away on July 17, 2024, at the age of 53. Born on October 12, 1970, in Cincinnati, OH, Sabrena was a vibrant and caring individual who touched the lives of those around her.
Sabrena was a proud resident of Cincinnati throughout her life. She has a passion for reading and writing, often found visiting the public library, immersing herself into the pages of books and letting her creativity flow onto paper. Sabrena's love for literature was only matched by her appreciation for good food. she relished in Down Home soul food and also enjoyed the flavors of Hooks Fish and Chicken
Music played a significant role in Sabrenas's life, particularly Old school music. she had and incredible knack for remembering the lyrics to her favorite jams from the past, making any gathering more lively with her infectious enthusiasm.
Sabrena's determination and resilience were evident in her education journey. She was among the first African Americans to receive a four year scholarship and graduate from Seton High School. Despite facing setbacks, including the loss of her first associate degree, Sabrena never gave up. She returned to school and earned her associate degree for a second time from Cincinnati State College.
Known for her kind heart, Sabrena found joy in volunteering at the daycare center, where she spent her free time caring for children. Her selfless nature and warm smile will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
As a devoted Christian,Sabrena found solace and strength in her faith. She was baptized at Jerriel baptist church, where she found a spiritual community that uplifted her throughout her life. Sabrena L.Terry's memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her. She will be remembered for her unwavering determination, her love for literature and music and her compassionate heart.
Sabrina is now reunited in heaven with her grandmother Minnie Ree Terry, her very best friend.
