It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sadora Lewis, who finally escaped the clutches of old age on June 15, 2024. She was born on May 1, 1932, in West Point, Virginia, to William and Deloris Lewis, who surely would have been proud to see their daughter's life end in such a spectacular fashion.
Sadora, known for her dedication to the community and her extensive collection of aprons, leaves behind 2 children to mourn her departure. However, she is survived by two grandchildren ( Alicia gates , Johnathan gates ) & also her great grandchildren ( JaeCayla Barksdale , Tameka William ) who will inherit her impressive assortment of recipes and endless supply of cleaning supplies.
During her time on this earth, Sadora attended Armstrong High School, where she presumably learned the art of passive-aggressive side-eye and perfected her ability to resist any modern technology invented after the 1960s.
In her spare time, Sadora could often be found helping out at the local church service organization, where she expertly ladled soup and judged the cleanliness of the silverware. Her hobbies included cooking, cleaning, and serving the church, so it's safe to say that her afterlife will consist of eternal potlucks and infinitely stocked supply closets.
Despite her insistence on using a rotary phone until her dying breath, Sadora will be fondly remembered by all who knew her for her unwavering dedication to her community and her unparalleled ability to give the side-eye to anyone who dared cross her path.
You can to the family or in memory of Sadora Lewis.
