Obituary - Sainabou Ceesay

Sainabou Ceesay, a resident of Banjul, Banjul, The Gambia, peacefully passed away on October 13, 2023, at the age of 77. Born on April 10, 1946, Sainabou lived a life full of love, and joy.Allahum-maghfir lihayyinaa, wa mayyitinaa, wa shaahidinaa, wa ghaa'ibinaa, wa sagheerinaa wa kabeerinaa, wa thakarinaa wa 'unthaanaa. Allahumma man 'ahyaytahu minnaa fa'ahyihi 'alal-'Islaami, wa man tawaffaytahu minnaa fatawaffahu 'alal-'eemaani, Allahumma laa tahrimnaa 'ajrahu wa laa tudhillanaa ba'dahu.

Sainabou was a cherished member of her community, known for her warm heart, kindness, and unwavering generosity. Her radiant smile could brighten even the darkest of days. She believed that love and compassion were the most potent tools for making the world a better place, and she actively practiced these virtues every day.
