Sally Margaret Wilson, of Fluvanna, formerly of Manassas Park, died Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at her residence. She was born February 16, 1938 in Tazewell County, VA to the late Troy Columbus Wright and Margaret Jane Kinder Wright.  

Sally enjoyed playing bingo and bowled in many leagues in Manassas. She loved spending time with her family and helping to care for them. Sally was the last surviving sibling from her family of 22 children. 

She is survived by four children, Eugene “Frank” Wilson (Cindy), Larry Wilson (Carol), Wanda Sloper (Pete), and Scott Wilson (Sherrie); nine grandchildren, Lisa, Keith, Travis, Wayne, Marsha, Angel, Craig, Eric and Michael; several great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relative and friends. 

In addition to her parents and siblings, she is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Maynard Frank Wilson, who passed in 2019. 

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. 

Interment will follow at Culpeper National Cemetery, 501 E. Chandler Street, Culpeper, VA.
