Griggs, Sally Sally Griggs, 91, of Naples, FL passed away peacefully on December 14, 2016. She was born on June 29, 1925 to Judson and Ann Fellman in Milwaukee Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Griggs, with whom she celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary shortly before his death in 2014. She is also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. Sally and Sherman spent nearly all of their married life in Wauwatosa. They were members of the First Congregational Church of Wauwatosa for many years and Sally was also a member of the Wauwatosa Garden Club. She was a dedicated mom and grandparent and was actively involved in the lives of her children and grandchildren. Sally was a girl scout leader for seven years and was involved with the lives of her family as a first priority. Later in life, she was a business entrepreneur and owned and operated Little Darlings, a successful children's clothing store in Elm Grove, throughout the 80's and early 90's. Sally and Sherman moved to Naples, FL in 2002 where they had twelve happy years together and met special friends, especially through Jubilee Fellowship of Naples, FL. Sally is survived by three children: Paula Hammelman of Naples, FL, Judson (Terry) Griggs of Atlanta, GA, and Barbara (Mark) Bolens of Mequon, WI. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. A celebration of Sally's life will be held at the First Congregational Church of Wauwatosa at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, December 27th. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Sally's name to the Susan G to support the fight against
breast cancer.
