Kolpack, SallySally J. Kolpack, 80, a long-time resident of Bowler, died on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the Homme Home of Wittenberg.She was born on August 8, 1937 in Mattoon, the daughter of the late Earl and Leona (Becker) Weyenberg. Sally graduated from Antigo High School and went onto receive her teaching certificate from the Antigo Normal School. She continued her education at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point earning her bachelor's degree in education. She was united in marriage to Otto Kolpack in 1959. He preceded her in death on July 27, 2014. She taught elementary school at Bowler Grade School until her retirement. Following retirement she travelled extensively and loved to socialize with friends and family. Sally is survived by her daughter Jane (Jon) Brainard of Wausau; granddaughter, Aimee and great-grandchildren, Ethan and Julian all of Hudson; sisters, Janet Pogrant of Little Chute and Joanne (Clayton) Erickson of Waukesha; brother-in-law, Robert Kolpack of Bowler; sister-in-law, Sharon Weyenberg of New Mexico; also foreign exchange students who remain a part of our family, Marisol (Eduardo) Almendarez of Miami and Dirce Santos Richards of New Hampshire and their children. And many neices and nephews.Sally was preceded in death by her husband, Otto; her parents; her brother, James, her sister-in-law and brother-in-law Mary Jane and Ed Striker.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM on Friday, October 13, 2017 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Tigerton. Fr. José Castañeda will officiate. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Tigerton. Visitation will be on Friday from 10AM until the time of Mass at the church. Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home, Wittenberg is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
