Salomon Lara, 54, passed away early Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Yuma Regional Center. He was born on March 25, 1959 in Mesa, AZ.Salomon was a landscaper. He enjoyed fishing, bike riding, painting, hunting and playing horseshoes. Salomon is survived by his children, Vanessa Lara, Salomon Lara Jr., Hector Lara; ex-wife, Irma Padilla all of Las Cruces, NM. His mother, Margarita Lara of Yuma, AZ; sister, Angie Lara of Yuma, Elvira William of Marysville, WA, Stella Camarena of Yuma; brother, Johnny Lara of Yuma, Tony Lara Jr. of Mesquite NM, and Daniel Hernandez of El Paso; 2 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Antonio Lara, brother, Carlos Lara, Nephew, Fred Castro. Viewing will be at Johnson Mortuary Thursday, January 16, 2014 from 5pm to 8pm with rosary at 6:30pm. Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception on Friday January 17, 2014 at 10am. His final resting place will be at Desert Lawn memorial Park.
