Sam DiFioreClarksville - Funeral service for Sam DiFiore, age 90 of Clarksville, will be Thursday, Nov 09, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Sykes Funeral Home with Brother Terry Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens where military honors will be rendered. The family will receive friends on Thursday, Nov 09, 2017 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Sam passed away on Tuesday, Nov 07, 2017 at Spring Meadows Healthcare where he was known as "Sam the Man". He was born on Sep 08, 1927 in Portland, Maine to Alfredo and Annina DiFiore where he was one of nine children. He was a member of Hilldale Baptist Church. Sam was a big family man. He loved cooking and watching or attending anything sports related. He was proud of his service in the United States Army.In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by seven of his siblings. He is survived by his sons; Michael (Lisa) DiFiore, Joe (Debbie) DiFiore, granddaughter, Jodee (Justin) Rapp, great-grandchildren, Eliza and Jake, and sister, Mary Tizzano.Pallbearers will be; Billy Travis, Darrin Greenup, Justin Rapp, Tony Rapp, Neal Ladd, and Eddie Pace.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Avalon Hospice, 226 Uffelman Drive, Clarksville, TN 37043Online condolences may be made at sykesfuneralhome.com
