On November 18, 2024, the world lost a shining light with the passing of Samantha Corliss of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Born on May 27, 1978, Samantha was a beloved daughter of Ronald Platt and Josephine, a cherished spouse of since passed, James Corliss Jr, and a devoted mother to her three children, Rickey Nixon, Mia Mojica, and Alaina Corliss.

Samantha's life was filled with love and joy, as she lived each day to the fullest. She was a graduate of Plymouth Whitemarsh High School, where she excelled both academically and socially, graduating in 1996. After marrying James Corliss Jr in 2004, Samantha devoted her life to her family, raising her children with unwavering love and dedication.

She was a pillar of strength and support for her family, always putting their needs above her own. Samantha had a vibrant personality and a contagious smile that would light up any room. Her kindness and generosity knew no bounds, and she touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Though Samantha may no longer be with us in person, her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering compassion that will never be forgotten.
