Samantha Diso passed away on November 10, 2016 surrounded by those who loved her. She was born on February 18, 1986 in Lorain, where she lived with her parents. She was a 2004 graduate of Southview High School, where she lettered in basketball, soccer, tennis, and softball. While pursuing her degree at Cleveland State, she was employed as a supervisor at Rags Wine and Beverage. She graduated from Cleveland State in 2015 with a Bachelors Degree in History and Social Studies. Samantha loved history and especially loved reading and learning about World War II, which her grandfather, Faust Diso, served in. Samantha was also such a big Boston Red Sox fan, that she and her sister, Sara, took a trip to Boston to watch her team play against the Cleveland Indians. Samantha will be remembered by her laugh which would overtake a room and those who knew her will remember this with a smile. Samantha is survived by her father, Bruce; her mother, Patti (nee Novinger); and devoted sister, Sara. She is also survived by her grandmother, Eleanor Diso, as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins, who were with her during her illness, giving her the love and support that was so important. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Faust Diso and her grandmother, Lillian Novinger. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 14, from 4 to 8 p.m., in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, at 11:30 a.m. The Rev.
