SANDULAK, Samen (Sam) Samen was born on April 26, 1932 in Bellevue, Alberta. He was the 10th child of Nick and Paraska Sandulak. Sam died in his sleep on February 13, 2017 in Calgary, Alberta. Sam is survived by his sisters, Helen Young, and Pauline Rehbein; his son, Paul Fletcher, numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends in the East Village building in which he called home for 30 years. Sam was predeceased by his ever-missed companion Gladys Bean in 2014. At Sam's request, there will be no funeral and the family will take him home to Bellevue at a later date.
