Sampson Williams (aka BEAU) was born on April 06, 1941 in Troup, Texas. He was the eighth of twelve children born to the parents of Elder George Williams and Cynthia Ewins Williams. His early education was at Central High School and he graduated in May 1960. After completing high school Sampson enlisted into the US Army in July 1960. Sampson served his country for three honorable years. After returning to the States he made his residence in Los Angeles and married Ruby Lee Daniels. To this union one beautiful daughter was born Yolanda Michelle Williams who joined her older brother Demetrius Mikes to form a loving family. Later the family made their residence in Carson, CA.
Sampson attended Los Angeles Trade-Technical College and received a degree in 1980. He was an employee with the Long Beach Naval Shipyard in 1972 and retired at the closure of the shipyard in 1992. Sampson was a sports enthusiast and passionate about watching sports, especially his Dallas Cowboys and beloved L.A. Lakers.
Sampson took his last breath on September 25, 2020 to join love ones who preceded him in death, which include his parents, three (3) brothers, William H. Lacy, George Chester Williams, and Troy Williams; one sister; Willie Mae Craig.
Sampson Williams will be missed and always in our hearts. He leaves a wealth of memories to be cherished by his children: Yolanda Michelle Williams (Corona, CA) and Demetrius Mikes (Corona, CA). He is also survived by 2 grandchildren Kijon Mikes and Savannah Williams (Corona, CA), 3 brothers, Clarence Williams (Henderson, TX), Rev. Forse Williams (Dorothy) (Tyler, TX), Samuel Williams (Carson, CA); 4 sisters, Ruby Mingo (Los Angeles, CA), Ina Caldwell (Anderson) of (Troup, TX); Annie Gidding (Dallas, TX), and Brenda Franklin (Tyler, TX) along with a host of nieces, nephews. relatives and friends.

Details: Due to state guidelines because of COVID-19, the memorial service will be held outside in a covered tent. Face mask are required and social distancing must be practiced at all times. There will be a private burial at a later date.
