Samuel HartLueders, TXSam Hart, 66, of Lueders, will be remembered during services Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 2:00PM in the Avoca Methodist Church with Rev. Dennis Huffaker officiating. He will be laid to rest in Spring Creek Cemetery under the direction of Tankersley Funeral Home. Sam passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at a local hospital.Samuel Griffin Hart was born on November 13, 1950 in Eastland County Texas. He was the oldest of two children born to the late G. W. and Nell Hart. Reared in Eastland area until age 12, Sam and the Hart family relocated to Lueders. Sam was a 1969 graduate of Lueders-Avoca High School. He continued his education at Cisco Jr. College. He spent his adult life working in the petroleum industry and working family farm land. He had a love for flying, so he sought and earned his pilot's license. Sam enjoyed music, especially playing the guitar, a talent and legecy he taught both of his boys.In 1983 he married Malisa Whitley, a union that was blessed with two sons; Zane and Zach.Survivors include two sons, Zane Hart and Zach Hart both of Lueders, TX; a sister, Tamera Royal of Belton, TX; two nieces, Holly Trotter Hailey and Stephany Royal; one aunt, Violet Frazier of Abilene, TX; one great niece, Georgia Hailey; and a friend and mother of his children, Malisa Hart. He was preceded in death by; his parents, and one nephew Jeff Trotter.
