We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Samuel Thomas, who left us on December 5, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on July 19, 1950, in Quitman, Georgia, Samuel was the beloved son of Otis Thomas and Rudy Turner.
In 1980, Samuel married the love of his life, Jeannette Thomas, and together they raised five wonderful children: Ann, Wanda, Ruby, Christopher, and Janice. Samuel was a proud grandfather to nine grandchildren. Atavias(proceeded in death), Javon Thomas, Quanta Wright, Johnessia Thomas(Will Bolden), Jeray Thomas(Krystal Thomas), Jaleel Williams, Jumiyah Dailey, Dion Godfrey and Anika Thomas(Je’o Ames)
Samuel spent much of his life working as a welder, eventually retiring in 2000. He was known for his dedication to his work and his skilled craftsmanship.
Despite the challenges he faced, Samuel always maintained a lighthearted and positive outlook on life. He had a contagious smile and a great sense of humor that will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Samuel fought a valiant battle against cancer, showing courage and resilience until the very end. While we are heartbroken by his loss, we take solace in knowing that he is now at peace.
Samuel Thomas leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. He will forever hold a special place in the hearts of his family and friends.
