Santa Rosa, TX - San Juana Perez, 59, went to be with our Lord on Monday, November 7, 2016, in Harlingen, Texas. She was born on September 6, 1957 in Mercedes, Texas to Pablo and Olivia Alaniz. San Juana worked and retired from the Santa Rosa I.S.D. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt.She is preceded in death by her father, Pablo Alaniz Sr.; and brother, Pablo Alaniz Jr.Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 40 years, Jose Luis Perez Sr.; her children, Raul Perez (Anna Marie), Jose Luis Perez Jr. (Iris), Cody Lee Perez (Sally), and Monica Perez (Ramon); 9 grandchildren, Isaac Perez, Monico, Vivian, and Jolyn Perez, Sady and Cody Perez Jr., Johnathon Trevino, Dustin Perez, and Madison Perez; mother, Olivia Solis Alaniz; brothers, Felipe, Tommy, Gary, and Ricky Alaniz; 2 sisters, Hilda Whitehead and Mary Ann Contreras; and numerous nephews and nieces.Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2016, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a prayer of the Holy Rosary at 7 p.m.Funeral mass will be held on Friday, November 12, 2016, at 2 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Santa Rosa.
