She was born on October 26, 1945 in Lebanon, a daughter of the late Walter C. Jr. and Joyce M. Weise Gensemer. Sandra was the wife of Thomas P. Cooney for 10 years. Mrs. Cooney was retired from Wal-mart where she was a cashier. She enjoyed animals, crafts, Irish music, collected angels, loved birds and cats. Surviving in addition to her husband are her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held in the Rohland Funeral Home Inc., 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, PA 17042 on Friday, November 11, 2016 at 11 a.m. with a visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
