Sandra Bell, a beloved resident of Lubbock, Texas, went on her final adventure on August 1, 2023. Born on June 8, 1931, Sandra filled the lives of those around her with love and laughter for almost a century.

She was the cherished daughter of James Ray Vaughn and Nancy Elaine Vaughn. Growing up in Lubbock, Sandra attended Brownfield High School before graduating with the class of 1948—a time when poodle skirts and jukeboxes were all the rage.

In the year 1945, Sandra found her forever partner in crime, Craig Leonard Bell. They were happily married and embarked on a lifetime of companionship and shared memories. Together, they welcomed two beautiful children into the world, Debbie Lenora Smith and Rita Elaine Stone. Sandra's love for her family was unmatched.

Known for her vibrant personality and infectious smile, Sandra had a way of making everyone feel at ease. Her kind heart and gentle nature touched the lives of countless others. Whether it was through her signature home-cooked meals or her knack for storytelling, she had a magical way of bringing people together.

In her free time, Sandra enjoyed exploring the great outdoors. She was an avid hiker and birdwatcher, finding solace in the beauty of nature. Her passion for life was truly infectious, and she passed this enthusiasm down to her children and grandchildren.

Sandra embraced life to the fullest and experienced natural causes as a cause of death. She lived a life filled with love, laughter, and countless fond memories. Though she will be dearly missed, Sandra's spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
