Sandra Leas (62) was born on May 12th, 1959 in Peoria, Illinois. She was the daughter of the late Abraham Leas and Judith Stout. She is survived by her children, Lashawnda Leas and Cody Leas of Peoria, IL. Her Grandchildren Zashaun Gist; Josiah and Jeremiah, and three great-grandchildren, Brynnlee, Malakai, and Kaliah Gist. Six siblings Kay Brabson and Deborah Leas of East Peoria, IL, Candy Leas of Washington, IL; Jerry Leas of Chillicothe, IL; David Bruce and Abraham Bruce of Springfield, IL; Tina Melton of Keenes, IL.Sandra loved everyone and was profoundly loved by her family and friends. She was extremely sassy, feisty, and always said aloud what she was thinking no matter what it was. She was the life of every party and when she entered a room she immediately caught everyone’s attention with her infectious laugh. She absolutely loved to go to bingo with her sister Candy (Twisted Sisters), family, and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved a good time surrounded by plenty of food, family, and friends. She fought a good fight for many years.Late Sunday night, January 30, 2022, Sandra gained her wings and transitioned from this life to be with our Heavenly Father.
