Sandy bPaul Gordon, a long-time retired mechanic of Gastonia NC passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 23, 2019, at the age of 79. He was born April 6, 1939, and spent his early years in Shelby NC. Sandy loved to meet new people and later joined the US army. He was a proud Army veteran and loved his country. Sandy leaves behind seven children and twenty-two grandchildren. He was loving and kind to everyone he met. Sandy also loved the game of basketball. If he saw anyone with anything other than Duke paraphernalia on he had something to say. Sandy will truly be missed. He is gone but never forgotten.
