Santos Sr., 87, of San Benito, Texas, passed on December 30, 2022. Santos was born on November 01, 1935.
Mr. Villarreal was born November 1, 1935 in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico, son of Loreto Villarreal and Catarina Trevino. He is preceded in death by his wife, Irene Mendiola Villarreal; a son, Rodolfo Villarreal and his parents.
Left to cherish his memories are his children, Maria D. Alvarez, Edelmiro Villarreal, Juana Villarreal, Enedelia Villarreal, Santos Villarreal Jr. Isabel Villarreal, Alma Leticia Valdez, Catalina Adame, Irene Perez; his brother, Inderso Villarreal. Also surviving his are 45 grandchildren, 98 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday,January 4, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home in Chapel of the Heavens in Brownsville. A prayer will be held at 7:00 pm. Interment is scheduled for Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 11:00 am at La Paloma Cemetery in San Benito.
