An angel takes flight. Sara Linn Costa, 36, a life-long resident of Florida and Rhode Island, passed away quietly, unpreparedly, with her loving family at her bedside on Saturday, April 28th, on a bright and sunny Venice, Florida day. Born to the love of Joseph Costa and the late Sandra Lee Costa (Nuccio) in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, she was an intense soul never lacking in color and personality.
Sara always lived much of her life to the fullest, undoubtedly gathering many friends and loved ones along the way. Although her journey in this life may have been limited, she certainly leaves in her gentle wake, millions of personal memories spotlighting her wit, eccentricity, and the ability to inspire many an individual with her gifted energy. She possessed an admirable love for nature, people, and animals as well as her beautiful eye for photography, that was nothing short of brilliant.
Sara will join her grandparents and mother, Sandy in the heavens, and leaves behind her loving and ever-doting father, Joseph Costa of Florida; big brother, Nick Costa and his wife, Cara Koltowich Costa; as well as 2 of her favorite things on Earth, niece, Mia Rose and nephew, Nicholas of East Providence, R.I. She will be greatly missed by many aunts, uncles, and cousins around our beloved country, and the list of "her girls," close friends, and confidants she loved so, goes on and on.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, the Costa family asks for your donation of love and service to those in your family who may be afflicted and need a clearer path through life.
There will be a celebration of Sara's life ceremony and picnic on Sunday, June 3rd, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the Chapel by the Sea in Colt State Park in Bristol, R.I. Join us as we gather to remember Sara's years and send her off lovingly to her final place of peace.

Sara you were full of life with your beautiful smile and laughter that echos the awaken soul... You are a kind, warm loving person that would help anyone if needed to be. I came to you to help me with my hair and on a dime you asked me to come over. We laughed and shared some memories..You will for ever be a happy memory for me. The heavens are lucky to celebrate your arrival.. May you rest in peace and watch over us as the angel you are! Meghan D.
