She was born on July 9, 1928 in Santa Ana, El Salvador the daughter of the late Fernando Alberto Mendez Cienfuegos and Maria Dolores Espinoza Acevedo. She loved her family deeply, enjoyed traveling, and lived life to the fullest…and she did it "her way". Sara is survived by her three children Ana Margarita Massey of Okmulgee, OK, Jose R. Marroquin of Burbank, CA, Carlos E. Marroquin and wife Bridget of So. Burlington; and her six grandchildren Jose Massey, Joshua Massey, Jordan Marroquin, Sara Beth Marroquin, Grace Marroquin, and Megan Marroquin. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 5pm to 7pm at the Ready Funeral & Cremation Service South Chapel, 261 Shelburne Rd. Burlington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 13, at 11:00am at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Shelburne. There will be no burial.
