Sara Weir, 26, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed on June 10, 2023. Sara was born on November 24, 1996. She lived a short life passing at the age of 26. She was a determinate human being who always gave her all in everything she did. She lived a life with the love of her family, friends, and her kids.

Sara is predeceased by her parents, Paul and Robin Weir. Her sister Selina Weir. She is survived by her daughter Aaliyah Massey, and her son, Kingston Miles. She is also survived by her sister Samantha Weir; two aunts, Deb (Chuck Corbett) Henighen and Tina (Eric) Small uncle, Johnny Henighen; nephews, Ryheam Burns, Nickalis Burns, Drabrien Laney and niece Brianna Laney.

The family will receive friends at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe on Saturday, 

June 17th 2023 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm. A service to celebrate Sara's life will be in McEwen’s Colonial Chapel on Sunday, June 18th, 2023 at 2:00 pm followed by burial at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
