Sarah Ashley (Mahler) Boleratz, 30, of Meadville, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2016, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 20, 1986, in Toledo, Ohio, a daughter of Joseph Mahler and Amy English Mahler. She married Jonathan Boleratz on February 3, 2007. Sarah was a graduate of Wooster High School and had attended Cedarville University. She worked as a pre-school
teacher, and enjoyed cooking and crafts. Sarah was a loving mother and was active in her children's schooling, Bible Study, and MOPS. She attended Calvary Baptist Church. Sarah is survived by her loving husband, Jonathan Boleratz of Meadville; her two children, Joelle Boleratz (age 6) and Mason Boleratz (age 9) of Meadville; two brothers, Stephen Mahler and his wife Abbey of Perrysburg, Ohio and Andrew "Drew" Mahler of Streetsboro, Ohio; a grandmother, Bonnie English of Port Clinton, Ohio; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joel and Fern Boleratz of Union City; sister-in-law, Amanda Boleratz of Durham, North Carolina; a brother-in-law, Bryan Boleratz and his wife Patti of Erie; several nephews; a niece; and several uncles, aunts, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Dean English; paternal grandparents, Jack and Gloria Mahler; a grandmother-in-law, Evelyn Boleratz; and grandparents-in-law, Steve and Helen Sakach. Family and friends are welcome to call on Friday, October 21st from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 543 Randolph Street, Meadville, and on Saturday, October 22nd from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 543 Randolph Street, Meadville. A Celebration of Sarah's Life will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the church, with Pastor Tim Jordan officiating.
