Sarah Elizabeth Harman, 25, went to be with Jesus, her Lord and Savior when she suddenly died on Friday, December 20, 2013 in Phoenix, Arizona. Sarah was born on May 7, 1988 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.Sarah and her family moved to Yuma, Arizona in July 1995. She attended Yuma Lutheran School and Yuma Catholic High School. In high school she excelled in and won numerous awards as a team leader on the cross country, basketball, and track teams. Her hard work and determination was evident in each and every competition. This not only shown through her world of sports but also in her daily life and her love for music. She played the piano, and taught herself how to play the drums and guitar. Sarah was also active in her church youth group. One of her joys was serving as a young adult leader at an LCMS National Youth Gathering. After graduating from Yuma Catholic High School in 2006, Sarah attended Arizona Western College and then transferred to Concordia University in St. Paul, Minnesota.Sarah is survived by her mom and dad, Tammy and Vince Harman; her sister, Rachel; her brothers, Jacob and Caleb; grandma and grandpa Harman; grandma, Georgene; grandpa, Don and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A viewing will take place at Christ Lutheran Church, 2555 S Engler Ave., Yuma, AZ on Saturday, December 28, 2013 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. with a Celebration of Life Service following at 11:00 a.m.Please sign the guestbook at
