Sarah Jewel was a loved wife, mother, aunt and friend. She was know in Avondale for her beautiful smile and voice which she used at cheer up those around her.
She graduated from Phoenix High school in 1952 and went to college to become a nurse. During her time in college she met her future husband Craig Marshall, who was then a Junior as ASU. Craig and Sarah married in 1956 and had two beautiful daughters, Karla and Cindy.
Sarah worked at different nursing homes helping the elderly stay comfortable and blessing them with her smile and beautiful voice. There were many times she would sing to them and the staff. Even after she retired she continued to volunteer at the Sunrise nursing home where she sang and lead the daily activities, untill she had her stroke.
