Sarah Louise Miller, 92, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2023. She was born on March 26,1931, in Spartanburg, SC to the late Arthur Jones and Catherine Alexander. Mrs. Miller was the wife of the late Willie James Miller.

Mrs. Miller worked for Spartanburg Regional Health System for over 40 years. She was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. 

She is survived by her sisters: Lillie Ruth Hill of Fountain Inn, SC; Rosa Bee Jones of Spartanburg, SC; her children, James (Alma) Miller of Moore, SC, Timothy Miller of Nashville, TN and Charlie (Kathy) Miller of Spartanburg, SC, Gayle (Pittard) Free of Spartanburg, SC; her 28 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; her loving sister-in-law, Katie Jones of Virginia Beach, VA; her dedicated caregivers; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

She was predeceased by: her husband, Willie James Miller; her daughter, Judy Miller; and her sons, Ronnie L. Miller and Jolie C. Miller.

The Homegoing Celebration for Sarah Louise Miller will be held on Sunday, May 14, 2023 at 12:00 noon at The John Stinson Woodward Funeral Home , 602 Howard Street, Spartanburg, SC 29303. Burial will be in the Heritage Memorial Gardens, 3901 S. Church Street Ext., Roebuck, SC.

Sarah Miller meant the world to us, and it was clear from the many people who came to pay their respects at the funeral that [he/she] touched the lives of so many others as well. We take great comfort in knowing that [he/she] is now at peace, surrounded by love and warmth.
