Scarlet T. ColeSeguin, TXScarlet T. Cole, of Seguin, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2017, at the age of 69. She was born on January 23, 1947 in Haskell, Texas, to Sallie Edna (Alexander) and Andrew Jackson Sanders. She is preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Eva Irene Hardman, Martha Leno Maupin, and Lona Mae Phelps.Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Kenneth Alvin Cole, children, Edwin D. Baxter and wife Maria, of Brownsville; Teresa Cole and husband Johnny Cole of New Braunfels; step son, Jesse Cole and wife Tammy, of Seguin; step son, Jackie Cole, of Seguin; grandchildren, Scarlet D. Henninger, of New Braunfels; Shawna Cole and Dominque, of San Marcos; and David Cole of New Braunfels; two great granddaughters, Rylynn and Brooklyn; she is also survived by her siblings, Oman "Bud" Sanders and wife Wilma of Coleman; Ethel Slade of Eagar AZ; Andy Sanders and wife Marlene of Cross Plains; Marie Kirkland and husband B.D. of Fort Worth; Sue Cox and husband Walter of Naples; Jacky Sanders and wife Sandra of Haskell; Rocky Sanders and wife Marsha of Abilene; brother in law Bill Maupin of Odessa. As well as many other children and grandchildren that called her "Nana."Scarlet "Nana" was loving and very dedicated to her husband, children and especially grandchildren. Her family always came first and she was very active in their lives and never missed a sporting or dance event that involved her grandchildren. She was feisty and sassy and loved Betty Boop. She will be missed by those that knew and loved her. A Memorial Service will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Services will conclude in the chapel.Memorial Arrangements are under the care of Palmer Mortuary & Cremations, located at 1116 N.
