BONHAM - Memorial Services for Scott Allen Askew, age 58, of Bonham will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, December 8, at Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Mike Burt will officiate.Scott passed away Friday morning, December 2, 2016 surrounded by loved ones. Scott was born on December 14, 1957 in Long Beach, California, the son of Granville Fred Goodman and Sharon Lee Casto Goodman. Scott loved to tinker with things to see how they worked. He loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, photography, and cookouts. Scott loved his birds; Buddy a Cockatoo and Baby Boy a Cockatiel. He moved from California to Plano, Texas in 1977. He settled in Bonham in 2001 and worked at Clayton Homes where he considered his co- workers as family.He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Sharon Goodman, grandparents, Raymond and Ruth Casto, and a nephew, Robert John Sanders. Scott is survived by his sons, Thomas of Azle, Texas and Jason of Euless, Texas; sisters, Cindy Snively of Austin, Texas, Ruth Sanders of Lewisville, Texas, Jana Mayes of Medford, Oregon, Tammi Smith of Carrollton, Texas, and Leslie Goodman of Mena, Arkansas, four grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.In honor of Scott, if you would like to donate to the , your donation would be greatly appreciated.Online guest register at www.wisefuneralhome.com.
