Heimerl, ScottScott Heimerl, Scooter to some, Heimy to others, age 46, passed away unexpectedly on Friday December 30, 2016, finally finding peace. The son of Phyllis (Hucek) and Earl Heimerl was born on August 16, 1970. He was a 1989 graduate of East De Pere High School, and Northern Michigan University in 1993.Scott enjoyed playing baseball, in Little League, through his high school years and Legion League, continuing those friendships throughout his life. He loved to include his sons in his everyday hobbies and in his travels to baseball games, camping, the Dells and many other sites across the country.He loved coaching and mentoring kids, especially his 3 sons. He enjoyed time in the woods, hunting both deer and grouse with his family and friends. When camping his motto was "The bigger the fire the better". For more than 25 years he was a Machine Operator at Green Bay Packaging. His coworkers were like family to him.Scott is survived by his significant other, Sarah Chevalier, and her children Sophie and Sam; his own children, Josh (girlfriend Danielle Cleven), Tyler (girlfriend Hanna Schultz), and Sam Heimerl; his mother, Phyllis Heimerl (fiancé Don Kuehl); his brother Mark (Judye) Heimerl; and sister, Amy Jo (Todd) Brauer. He is further survived by his nieces and nephews; Ashley VanBeaver, Heidi (Jesse) Greene, Dustin and Alex Delveaux, Emily, Rhiannon, and Godchild Patti Jo Heimerl, Godchild Michael Kurzynske, Maddie Kurzynske, Jesse, Jacob, and Joshua Brauer, his Godmother Pat (Dave) Hunsader; many other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by his father Earl, a sister Debbie, a brother Mike, and his Godfather Eugene Heimerl.Private family services were held at Cotter Funeral Home in De Pere. Visitation will be held for family and friends on Friday, January 6th from 3:00pm - 8:00pm at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster, De Pere. Online condolences may be expressed at
