Scott Lee Phillips LUBBOCK-Scott Lee Phillips passed away Friday, Oct. 21, 2016. Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life of 54 years on Saturday, Oct. 29, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Scott was born on Sept. 16, 1962, to Earl Phillips and Linda Reaves Wyatt in Lubbock. He graduated from Coronado High School. On Jan. 9, 1984, Scott married his high school sweetheart, Teddie. Scott had a personality that was bigger than life. He never met a stranger and was always ready to help anyone in need. He was very passionate and supportive of his family in all their endeavors. Scott enjoyed fishing and driving the church bus for Lubbockview Christian Church for many years. He loved 1968 Mustangs, and his two dogs, Bonnie and Bobo. He is preceded in death by father, Earl Phillips. Scott is survived by his loving wife, Teddie; his mother, Linda Wyatt; children, Leslie Clancy and husband Jason, Brent Phillips and wife, Janelle, and Andrew Phillips; three granddaughters, Charity Clancy, Autymn Clancy, and Rowan Phillips; sister, Lynn Berlanga and husband, Albino; his best friend, Debbie Sanders; two godsons, Zack Sanders, and Lane Green; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family requests that memorials may be sent to in lieu of flowers.
