Scott LeMoyne WilsonJanuary 4, 1930 - December 23, 2015Scott LeMoyne Wilson, 85, passed away peacefully at his home, in River Heights, on Wednesday, December 23, 2015. He was a kind, gentle, and generous man. Scott was born on Jan. 4, 1930, to Ada Hansen and Lemoyne B. Wilson in Logan, Utah. He was raised in River Heights and graduated from South Cache High School in 1948.Scott married Ilene Baer on December 6, 1950, in the Logan LDS Temple. He worked as a plumber until he was 75 years old. Scott was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he served in many callings, and was a faithful home teacher for many years. Scott and Ilene served two church service missions, to the Deseret Industries, and at Adam-ondi-Ahman in Missouri. Scott enjoyed working in his garden, fishing with friends, riding his lawn mower in the back pasture, and going to Yellowstone and Bear Lake. He loved Cache Valley. He was a fan of USU football and basketball, and BYU football. Scott was always supportive of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Scott is survived by his three children: Annette (Roger) Howell of North Ogden, Utah; Paula (Courtney) Fisher of Kaysville, Utah; Gary Wilson of Los Angeles, CA; 10 grandchildren, and 35 great-grandchildren. His greatest joy was his family.Scott is also survived by brothers, Ross, Jim and Judd Wilson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ilene Baer, his parents and brother, Vance. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, December 28, 2015, in the River Heights 1st Ward Chapel, 800 S. 600 E. River Heights, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to the services on Monday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Providence Cemetery.
