Scott N. BloomfieldTIFFIN: Scott N. Bloomfield, 34, of Tiffin, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017.Scott was born on September 18, 1982 in Tiffin, to the John and Kim (Seitz) Bloomfield who survive in Tiffin.Other survivors include a brother, Brian (Brittany) Bloomfield of Millersburg, a sister, Kelli (Trevor) Langel of Fremont, a niece Londyn Bloomfield, nephew Reed Langel, father and mother-in-law, Denny (Bunny) Joseph of Tiffin, many aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends. Scott is also survived by his dog "Charlie Belle".Scott worked at Carmeuse in Bettsville and was a member of the United Steel Workers. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, a 2001 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School and also attended Heidelberg University. Scott traveled around the country playing baseball and was the first freshman at Columbian who lettered in baseball. People who really knew Scott, knew he was a loving son, uncle and friend. Scott was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Louie (Anna Lou Dryfuse) Seitz and maternal great-grandfather, Russ Dryfuse and paternal grandparents, Harry (Dorothy Eulett) Bloomfield.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to the Mass. Visitation for family and friends will be on Monday, from 4-8 p.m., at the Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin.
