Searcy Floyd Hunt Jr.November 4, 1924 - October 3, 2015Searcy Floyd Hunt, Jr., 90, of Caldwell, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 2:22 pm. He was born on November 4, 1924 in Okemah, Oklahoma. Searcy is survived by Rebecca, his wife of 69 years, a son, Floyd Darrel and a daughter, Becky Jean, five grandchildren, and one great-grandson. During WWII, he served in the Navy as an Aviation Machinist's Mate Third Class. After WW II, he and his new wife settled in Ontario, California where they raised their two children. He was a mail carrier for 29 years. After he retired, he and Rebecca moved to Idaho to be closer to family, where they lived until he died. He loved wood-working, traveling, and popcorn! A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, October, 10, 2015 at The First Baptist Church located at 221 E. Linden St in Caldwell, ID. Condolences may be left at www.flahifffuneralchapel.com.
