Seth J. Scarborough1995-2016Seth Jordan Scarborough, 21, passed unexpectedly and was received by the loving arms of Jesus on Wednesday, August 31, 2016. Seth was full of life and had a large circle of family and friends who were privileged enough to know him and be touched by him during his brief time here on the earth. Memories of Seth will carry on through his loving parents, Ben and Karen (Girouard) Scarborough; his brother, Ryan, and sister, Anna; his grandmother, Lou; uncles, aunts, cousins, and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, George Benjamin Scarborough, Sr., and grandmother, Mary Alice (Alleman) Scarborough; and his maternal grandfather, Darrell Girouard, and grandmother, JoAnn (Lewis) Girouard.Seth was born on May 1, 1995, in Slidell, Louisiana, and had the privilege of living overseas with his family in Indonesia and Vietnam. He lived most of his life in The Woodlands and graduated from College Park High School in 2014. Entering his third year as a Mechanical Engineering student at Texas Tech in Lubbock, he dreamed of one day becoming an engineer like his dad and working for Chevron. Seth will forever be remembered by all as the cook of the group and as one who took on life full force and found joy in the moment. He had a steady side to him along with his mischievous self that made him a good friend to many. He knew how to make people laugh but knew what it was to also be with them through the hard times. He also loved to spend time outdoors either playing golf, fishing or hunting. He will be deeply missed by all.Visitation will be held Sunday September 11, 2016 from 5:00-9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home located at 18000 I-45 South, The Woodlands, Texas 77384. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 12, 2016 at 11:00 am at Sts. Simon and Jude Catholic Church, 26777 Glen Loch Dr. Spring, Texas 77381. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to: Catholic Charities of Galveston-Houston, Houston Humane Society or Houston Food Bank.
