Shamso Mohamed, 60, of Calgary, Alberta, passed on March 24, 2023. Shamso. She was well respected in her community and her departure left a void in friends and family alike. Born in Mogadishu, Somalia, she fled to kenya in her 20s to pursue the raising of her two daughters in which she loved dearly. Her life wasn't an easy one but she made sure to be caring and loving towards everyone. She was welcoming and loved to strengthen her community with home cooked dinners for not only her family but for people she saw on the streets. She will not be forgotten.
