Sharon Ann TherrienAge: 64 • VergennesSharon Ann (Bergeron) Therrien, 64, of Vergennes, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the UVM Medical Center in Burlington surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 18, 1952 in Burlington; the daughter of the late Gerald and Hazel (Reynolds) Bergeron. Sharon graduated from Burlington High School in 1971. Shortly thereafter Sharon married the love of her life, Douglas Therrien, and the two eventually moved to Vergennes and started a family. Sharon was a hard working woman, holding many different positions throughout her working career, but most importantly she was an extremely loving and caring mom and wife. She enjoyed cooking wonderful meals for the family, and she loved and adored spending time with her three young grandchildren. Sharon is survived by her son, Jesse and wife Erin, and grandchildren Jacob Douglas and Brayden Eric of Brandon, daughter Nicole Therrien and grandchild Taylor Ann Steady of Vergennes, sisters; Mary Gordon of Burlington, Florence Wilhelm of Vergennes, Rose Lane and husband Ken of Shelburne, Bridget Gile and husband Bradley of Starksboro, Theresa Aube and husband Steve of Hinesburg, Linda Wright of Henderson, Nevada; brothers, Richard of Burlington and Donald of Casselberry, Florida, along with numerous brother and sister-in-law's, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by her loving husband of 43 years, Douglas Therrien, brother, James Bergeron, sisters, Hilda Griffin and Sandra Bergeron, along with several brother and sister-in-law's. A mass celebrating Sharon's life will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 11am at St. Peter's Church in Vergennes. All are welcomed to attend. A private burial at Resurrection Park Cemetery in South Burlington will take place at a later date.
