Sharon was born on May 12, 1951 to Arthur and Lucille Eisenschink in Manitowoc, WI. Sharon attended St Paul's elementary school and went on to graduate from Lincoln high School Manitowoc in 1969. Sharon was united in marriage to John S Torrens at St Paul's Catholic Church in Manitowoc on November 21, 1973. John and Sharon lived in Eau Claire, WI and Marquette, MI before settling in Wausau, WI for 22 years where they raised their three daughters, Tara (New York City), Tiffany (Wausau) with grandchildren Morgan, Sonya, Claire and Kai; Tamara with husband Joshua Woller (Fitchburg) and grandson Aiden with another grandchild arriving in April.Sharon is survived by her three daughters; son-in-law, Josh; five grandchildren, a brother and sister-in-law, Donnie and Darlene Eisenschink of Manitowoc; a brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Donna Eisenschink of Manitowoc, a sister and brother-in-law Judy and Chuck Bradl, a sister Mary Ann Simino, a sister-in-law, Mary Eisenschink. In addition to her mother and father, Sharon was predeceased by her brothers, Arthur and Larry. Sharon is also survived by a brother-in-law Chris Torrens of Green Bay; brothers and sister-in-law's Charles and Sarah Mathews of Manitowoc and Richard and Gayle Reynolds of Littleton, Co. In addition, Sharon is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Sharon was involved in her daughter's early lives. She was a girl scout leader, she shuffled the girls to swim team practices, CCD studies, tennis lessons and anywhere else the girls needed to go. Sharon volunteered at Riverview Elementary school and ultimately was a teacher's aide. As the girls grew older Sharon transitioned to the Library Services office in the Wausau School District. where Sharon enjoyed going into work each day, because of the good people around her. Sharon liked to travel, especially to a Caribbean island or the coast of Mexico. Sharon liked to walk. Sharon and John walked all over Manhattan during their visits with Tara. Sharon liked it warm, but we found out living in Florida wasn't our thing, when after three weeks at a new job in St Petersburg, Florida we packed up and moved back to Wisconsin. Sharon's favorite animal was the humming bird. We spent many hours looking for hummingbirds, when we had the opportunity to winter in Santa Monica. Sharon, also, liked to design landscaping and plant the landscaping at four different homes we built. Tamara and Sharon spent several days traveling to Home Depots in Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin buying up the specific landscape stone that Sharon wanted. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Wisconsin Alzheimer's Disease Research Association, the Alzheimer's and Dementia Alliance of Wisconsin or Agrace Hospice. The family would like to thank the kind and compassionate caregivers at the Stoughton Hospital Geriatric Psychiatric Unit, Badger Prairie Health Care Center and Agrace HospiceCare.
