Sharon Rose (Lucius) FikeATTICA: Sharon Rose (Lucius) Fike, 52, of Attica, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital in Toledo, Ohio, of a sudden illness. She was born on March 22, 1965, in Tiffin, to Eileen (Lucius) Kurtz and the late Joseph Lucius. Shari is survived by her two sons, Nathan Fike (Rebecca Francis) of Green Springs and David Fike (Savannah Rodgers) of Omaha, Nebraska; her siblings Dan (Cheryl) Lucius of Upper Sandusky, Marilyn (Chip) Felter of Attica, Duane (Sally) Lucius of Norwalk, Nancy (Mark) Kluding of Canada, Greg (Julie) Lucius of Attica, and Larry Lucius of Attica; her many nieces and nephews; and her love, Ray Adelman of New Washington, and his son, Parker. Shari was preceded in death by her brother, Ed Lucius, and stepfather, Ron Kurtz. Shari was a 1983 graduate of Buckeye Central High School. Shari enjoyed her work at Seneca Tile and Attica Raceway Park. She spent many years operating the Lil' Indy Go-Kart track in Carrothers, Ohio and was a major asset to the Northwestern Ohio Go-Karting community. Shari prided herself in establishing close friendships with the racers and treating them like family. Shari was happiest when she was surrounded by her family and her dogs. Shari had a vibrant personality, generous heart, and a great sense of humor. She will be missed by many. At the request of Shari, only a private service will be held.
