Sharon Elaine Webb, 69, passed at Alaska Regional Hospital surrounded by her family on Nov. 30, 2016.Sharon was born on March 19, 1947m in Piqua, Ohio. She graduated from Miami East High School in Casstown, Ohio, in 1965.Sharon moved to Anchorage, Alaska, in 1993, and also lived in Palmer and Eureka during her 23 years in Alaska. She worked for Walmart in Ohio and Alaska.Sharon was a member of Holy Family Cathedral and the Women of Holy Family, as well as the 35+ Singles Dance Club of Anchorage. She volunteered at the Alaska State Fair, dressed as Mrs. Claus for Christmas time, was a Girl Scout leader and was involved in Community Theater in Piqua, Ohio. Sharon enjoyed beading, jewelry making, knitting, cake decorating, fishing, camping, snowmachining, sightseeing, telling stories and spending time with friends and family.Sharon is survived by her children, Alicia Webb of Kansas, Amy Webb of California, Jason Webb of Alaska; grandchildren, Ashley and Austin Webb of Kansas and Magnus Webb of Alaska; sisters, Margaret Westfall and Phyllis Chester of Ohio, and Nadine Heathman of Oregon; brothers, Philip Parke and Ralph Parke of Ohio; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews; her companion, Joe Shaw of Alaska; and many, many friends and relatives in Alaska and Ohio.Sharon was preceded in death by her mother, Zetta Parke Webb of Ohio; father, Francis Parke of Ohio; and aunts and uncles."Sharon loved life and those whom shared it with her. She will be remembered most for her loving, nurturing heart and radiant spirit and constantly having a hopeful, positive outlook on life!"On Friday, Dec. 9, 2016, there will be a 2 p.m. Rosary, and 3 p.m. Funeral Mass at Holy Family Cathedral, 800 West 5th Ave, Anchorage, AK 99501. Immediately following the services there will be a reception in the Holy Family Cathedral reception area.There will be a 2017 springtime celebration of her life in her hometown of Piqua, Ohio, and at that time will be laid to rest next to her mother's grave in Fletcher, Ohio.Donations can be made to the of Alaska, 3851 Piper St., Ste.
