Sheila craft, 68 passed away in the late evening of Monday, March 13, 2023.
She was born January 19, 1955, in Savannah GA. Lived in Key west FI. in her childhood, as well as Thunderbolt GA where she lived most of her life. She and her children also lived, and had fond memories, in Amarillo TX in the early 1980's.
Sheila was a graduate of Jenkins High School and had been a hairdresser and a cashier when she was younger. Most of her life she was as a caregiver of others. She took care of all her grandchildren and many family and friend's children as well as elderly family members. Sheila was a kind loving soul that never met a stranger and was always willing to help those that were in need. Sheila’s family were the most important thing in her life, her children were her pride and joy, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the lights of her life, which she never hesitated to say. Sheila loved animals and gardening, traits she passed down to her children.
Sheila was preceded in death by her parents Alfred R. (Sonny) Craft, Juanita R. Hunt, her younger sister Dana R. Craft, and her baby girl Julianna Douberly.Sheila is survived by her Stepmother Samantha Bobo, Aunt Sonja Canas Held (Arthur), her Brother Danny Bobo Jr [Lynn], sons Robert A. Douberly Jr. [Michelle] and Christopher (Adam) Douberly [Jill], daughter Lauri Ann Radcliffe [Brian], grandchildren Blaine, Landan [Lauryn], Anthony, Hailey, Ethan, Gabe, and her latest delights her great granddaughters Layla & Lainey, as well as three nieces, one nephew, and many cousins.
A visitation will be held at the home from 12:00 noon to 1:00 P.M. followed by a Service at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, March 18 2023.
Sheila’s wishes were that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Special thanks to the caring Physicians and Nurses at Memorial Health and Landmark Hospitals who were so thoughtful & kind in the last few months in her illness.
