We are saddened to announce the passing of Shelly Montgomery, who was born on May 15, 1930, in Dallas, Texas, United States. She passed away on November 21, 2024, at the age of 94. She is survived by her husband, Nelson Montgomery, whom she married in 1948.

Shelly was the beloved daughter of Thomas and Boots Jackson. She is also survived by her six children: Carolyn Hammon (Clifford), Jean Jackson (Louie), Henrietta Fraser (Winston), Margaret Williams (Claud Sr.), Diane Smith (Benearl), and Faye and Lois Harris. She was a loving grandmother to ten grandchildren.

Shelly attended Michigan High School of Arts and graduated in 1948. She continued her education at St. Peter's College, graduating in 1953. She pursued a career as a Registered Nurse, where she made a lasting impact on all those she cared for.

Shelly will be remembered for her kind and compassionate nature, her dedication to her family, and her unwavering faith. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Shelly Montgomery passed away due to Heart Failure. May she rest in peace.
