Sherian A. Miller Waples RehbergSherian A. Miller Waples Rehberg, 74, of Lafayette, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2017.She was born on June 20, 1942 in Lafayette to the late Paul Lee Miller and Elizabeth Marie "Betty" (Shoemaker) Miller Muse.Sherian graduated from Battleground High School with the class of 1959.In 1959 she married the late David L. Waples, they later divorced.On May 10, 1975, she married James Walter Rehberg, Sr. in West Lafayette; he preceded her in death on October 31, 2012.Sherian worked at Houghton Fluid Care and prior to that she worked as a bookkeeper for General Foods, she was a caretaker for Homestead, and she also worked at Wabash National.Sherian enjoyed sewing and making jewelry. She loved going to her grandson's baseball games and she was proud of her family and loved her dogs. She also enjoyed spending time with her friend, Ingrid.Surviving are her children, David "Davy" Waples (Mayra) of Arizona, Daveda Sanfratello (Tony) of Fort Wayne, Denise Long (Gerry) of Brookston, Dulea McNeely of Lafayette, Jamie Hodges (Jeff) of Lafayette, Susan Dybedock of Kankakee, IL, Karen Rehberg of Bradley, IL, and Diane Campbell (Gordon) of Bradley, IL and her grandchildren, Autumn, Candice, David, April, Anthony, Anisa, Jeffrey, Jordan, Jeremy, Jamie, Donald, Blake, Brycen, Douglas, Christy, Joe, Jason, Michelle, David, Krystal, Nichole, and Brandon. Also surviving are several great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by daughter, Donita VanCourt, son, James W. Rehberg Jr., granddaughter, Deann; and son-in-laws, Howard Dybedock and Gregory McNeely.Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 18, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. at Fisher Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 19, 2017 at Fisher Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, West Lafayette.Memorial donations may be made to Natalie's 2nd Chance Dog Shelter in loving memory of Sherian.
