Sherry Williams-Hon eldest daughter of Kitty Miyasato has passed away of a prolonged illness on October 24th, 20ll. She was 63 years young. She was born on March 28th, 1948 to Katherine (Kitty) & George Williams. She was born and raised in Juneau. She moved to Anchorage and spent several joyous decades in Anchorage, where her heart lies. She was of the Raven moiety, Frog clan from Atlin-Teslin Taku River in Canada.She spent many wonderful hours playing bingo and pull tabs. The sense of humor she had spread to many people. She spent the best years of her life raising three of her five grandchildren. Out of all the jobs she had she loved her 17 years of driving cab in Anchorage the best.She is preceded in death by her parents; sister Adele Lynette Williams, a grand daughter Marie Ann Olsen; lifelong friend Flora Boyles. Aunty Duffy Thornton; Uncle Alexander Stevens; Stepmom Bonny Sue Tabert-Willams. Nephew William (Willie) Petaja. And Ella Frankson.She is survived by her aunts; Marge Ling, Lucille Stevenson; brothers & sisters; Fran Sheakley, George, Dan, Frank, James & Dody Miyasato; daughters: Terri Nierstheimer & Cherly Mellick; Son in law Harry Okpik, Jr.; Grand Children: Derek & Dalton Nierstheimer, Kevin Slats, Jr., Ashley Johnston, & Nathaniel "Napoleon" Hensley-Williams. And Evan Okpik. She was expecting her first Great grandson from Derek. Nieces & Nephews: Kathleen Lee, Richard IV, Matthew, Jonathon, Miranda & Leeann Sheakley. Dan, Leslie Miyasato, Mary Rose Reynolds, Kevin M.
