Shifra F. Davis has peacefully gained her wings on July 18, 2021. She was born on December 11, 1961 to Barnabas and Barbara Davis in Franklinton, North Carolina. She attended Jersey City Public School #39 and graduated from Dickinson High School.

Shifra is survived by her mother Barbara Davis, two sisters and three brothers. She leaves behind three children Sheron, Shana, & William Davis and her eleven grandchildren. Her grandchildren are Aaliyah, William, Kimora, Serenity, Tanya, Saladin Jr., Martine, Gracelyn, Isaiah and extra granddaughter Chelsea. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews as well as her closest friends; Lathea Small, Queenie Epps and Gregory Littles.

Shifra has truly lived life to the fullest through the simplest pleasures. Whether it was chatting with her friends and family, snacking, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed watching football every Sunday, being a true Pittsburgh Steelers Fan. It was never a game without her arguing with someone, placing a bet or going live about her team. Her loud chants and comments will be missed. Football season will not be the same without her.

Though Shifra has left us behind with a heavy heart she is now at peace. She will truly be missed by those who loved her greatly. As she would say, it’s never goodbye just see you later. What a legacy, what a life. I invite each of you to keep Shifra’s name in your heart .
